It's the Pitts

Welcome to my research into

1.   The PITTS family who lived in the Hertfordshire village of Pirton for many years.

2.   The RAND(S) family from Suffolk

3.   The DAWDR(E)Y family from Norfolk/Suffolk/Essex

Throughout the ages the PITTS have been good old-fashioned honest (well a few exceptions here!) Ag Labs.
Three of them appear to have been transported for various offences.
The story of
John (abt 1821 - ???? ) is particularly interesting.

The PITTS family

The following also link into the PITTS in recent generations.

4.   The PILLER family based on John PILLER born about 1780 in the Devon town of Drewsteignton

5.   The RAVENHILL family based on William RAVENHILL born about 1822 in the LAMBETH area

I am very happy to help anyone who has an interest in any of the above families.
